How long you wait for a stone countertop: from measurement to fitting
From measurement to fitting usually takes 1–3 weeks. The exact date depends on the material, whether the stone is in stock, the number of cut-outs and the finishing work. We agree it with you before work starts.
Stages
- A call and a first quote: based on dimensions and photos.
- Samples at your home: you choose the stone in your own light.
- Measurement on the finished cabinets.
- Cutting and finishing in our workshop in Krosno.
- Fitting, by the same team.
How long it takes
From measurement to fitting usually takes 1–3 weeks. The date depends on the material and the scope. We agree it with you before work starts.
What makes it longer
- A stone that is not in stock and has to be brought in.
- Choosing a specific slab with a pattern you want to match on the island.
- Many cut-outs, a hob flush with the countertop, thickened edges.
- Changes after measurement: a different sink, a moved hob.
What speeds it up
- Cabinets fitted and levelled on the day of measurement.
- Sink, hob and tap known in advance.
- A quick decision after the samples.
Planning with other trades
The countertop is usually one of the last stages of a kitchen. After it come the plumber, the electrician and sometimes the tiler. Book them for after our fitting, not before the measurement.

Call us when you know the date your furniture will be fitted. We will set the measurement right after it.

Can I order the countertop before the cabinets to save time?
The quote and the choice of stone, yes. The measurement for cutting only happens on fitted cabinets.
Can I use the countertop right after fitting?
Usually yes, but the adhesive under an undermount sink needs time. We will tell you when it can take weight.
